IT'S A BOY

Say hello to Jackson Alexander Kendrick. Didn't take long for the nurse to tell us that he was a boy. No shame. That's my boy. I'll have him mooning people in no time.

So here's the ultrasound, sorry it's a little long (5 mins), I didn't have time to edit it much. So if you're short on time, the best spots are around 2mins and then again at 4mins. And yup, he's a boy so I will be using this video as blackmail later in Jack's life.

Apparently he's on the bigger side... haha. This early on it's not that big of a deal, he probably just hit a growth spurt early. But he's supposed to be around 9-10 oz, and he's just over 13. So the size actually predicts he'll show up around Jan 27, almost a week early.

Another thing that's pretty cool is that he's kicking quite a bit, and even better, he seems to kick more during the day more than at night! So hopefully he'll be awake more during the day and sleep better at night. That's what we're pretending anyway. I have only felt him kick once (2 kicks, one occasion), but Anya feels him a lot. And as soon as she tells me to come over and feel, he stops... momma's boy...
