Round 2...

Yay!!! Our little man is 4 months (well, 4 months plus 2 days)! Today we had Jackson's 4 month wellness check. He is growing soooooo fast! Jackson is a whopping 15.96 lbs, he is in the 62nd percent tile for his age; 26.1 inches long, that's the 88th percent tile for his age; and his head circumference is 16.75 inches, that puts him in the 78th percent tile. While at Dr. Bailey's Jackson received his second round of immunizations. :( It wasn't that bad...Jackson cried when the nurse came in, he cried when the Dr came in, he cried when he got his shots and he smiled when we put him in the car to come home. Such a Daddy & Mommy's boy! Don't think we will have a problem with the "danger stranger" phase of life. Only time will tell. Overall, Jackson did really well with the shots today. He was happy for the rest of the day and even slept well!

Let's take a walk down memory lane...

Round 1...

Round 2...

And the best news of all!!! Since Jackson is now 4 months, we got the approval from Dr. Bailey that if all the tell tale signs were there, we could feed Jackson some "real" food! The signs include: sitting well with little support, holds his head up, and seems to be hungry. Jackson has accomplished all of these signs so we decided to give it a try!

As you can see, it was an interesting experience for him! He has a strong extrusion reflex (pushes the food back out with his tongue) so we get to try again and again! Yay! With the new addition of food, means there will be lots more videos to come!

Zach and I have decided that Jackson is old enough now not only to eat small amounts of food but that he is now capable of putting himself to sleep! Hopefully this battle will go well! On a side note, our apartment complex's pool should be opening in the next couple of days so we are anxious to take Jackson to the pool for the first time! Video to come when we make it to the pool.
